Posting An Event
Overview
The goal of the Well City Milwaukee Wellness Calendar is to be a portal for all community wellness activities, programs, classes and other events. To make it easy and convenient, event providers are able to register and obtain a log-in password that enables you to post and manage events on the Well City Wellness Calendar. Once event information is submitted, it will be sent to the webmaster for review and approval. Please read the "Criteria for Event Inclusion" to insure to post only events that are appropriate to the wellness calendar. Other highlights include:
- Event users can attach promotional brochures or registration forms as well as add hyperlinks.
- Event seekers will be able to search the calendar by event category, date, event provider or keyword as well as link to location maps.
Step One: Register as a Provider
Click on the register icon.
- Complete your name, select a username and password and enter your e-mail address.
- Check the box after you have read the terms of the license.
- Click on submit and you will be registered as an event provider. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.
Step Two: Post An Event
- Click on the Post an Event icon and log-in with your username and password that was set up when you registered as a an event provider.
- Click on New Event.
- Complete all of the fields to provide information about the date, time, topic location, cost, sponsor, etc. of the event.
- Click on Submit.
- Your event will be held, awaiting final approval, and then be added to the calendar. Approval will occur within 2-3 business days.
